Scariest Movies Ever?
I was speaking to colleague about scary movies and he mentioned "The Devil's Rejects". Me thinks he was confusing scary with just plain gore. For example I didn't think "Hostel" was scary, it just a very gory flick.
If you had to ask me about the scariest movies I've ever seen, I'd say they are, in no particular order:

1. The Ring(1998): Not the hollywood version. Watch the Japanese version. I watched it with Hatice and Alejandra. Holy crap were they scared. And yeah, some parts made my skin crawl too
2. The Grudge (2004): This is just a great scare flick. Pass on the sequel. Tricia refused to watch it with me.
3. The Shining (1980): Psychotic father, psychic son and regular wife isolated in a hotel in Colorado in the dead of winter. Redrum... need I say more?
4. The Thing (1982): If you haven't seen this John Carpenter classic, do. It really well done. Some scenes will freak you out. Anytime I see a rerun coming on, I try to catch a few minutes.
4. Janghwa, Hongryeon (2003): Two sisters come home from a mental institution to a crazy step mother. And yeah a ghost. A Korean classic. Watch it before Hollywood remakes it with some moron like Sarah Jessica Parker.
Some honorable mentions
- The Exorcist (1973)
- Alien (1979)
- The Innocents (1960) &&|| The Others (2001)
- The Omen (1976)
- Psycho (1960)
- Halloween (1978)
